Kwittken + Company Named PR Agency of the Year by American Business Awards

NEW YORK, June 28, 2011 – kwittken +company (KCO), a kbs+p partner company and a member of the MDC Partners Network (Nasdaq: MDCA), was named PR Agency of the Year by the American Business Awards. The award was announced on Monday June 20 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Known as the Stevie Awards, the American Business Awards are one of the nation’s premier business awards programs, covering a wide range of industries and companies. In 2011 there were a record number of award submissions, with more than 2,800 from organizations of all sizes and from virtually every industry.

The American Business Award distinction is the agency’s third major award win this year. Earlier, KCO was named the “Boutique Agency of the Year” by PRWeek and the “Multi-specialist Agency of the Year” by The Holmes Group, which also awarded the agency a Sliver Sabre award for the best medical device campaign of the year.
