Kwittken & Company has been tasked with helping this 75-year-old, venerable media brand reposition itself into a young, new media company by touting its current “Bests” and launching new “Bests” within the personal finance, healthcare and education markets.

Kwittken & Company launched the magazine’s first Best Cars & Trucks issue in October, 2007 with resounding success, Best Cars & Trucks sold out all of the ad space on the RankingsAndReviews site; site traffic surpassed its one million visitors goal three days after launch, exceeded the unique visitors goal and averaged 12 page views per consumer, which is more than double the standard page view average; secured exclusive launch-day coverage with Fox & Friends and The New York Times; secured more than five million impressions through print and online coverage.

A few months later we launched the magazine’s first-ever rankings of the country’s Best High Schools, alongside data partner Standards & Poors. This too was a resounding success by any and all measures. The site had more than 5 million hits at launch, with more than 500,000 unique visitors, driven by national media coverage in the New York Times, Associated Press and more than 75 major daily papers and local broadcast stations around the country.
