Rocking Santa Monica With The All-American Rejects
In July 2006, Kwittken & Company coordinated The American Eagle Outfitters Road Trip Party with pop/rock band the All-American Rejects. The live concert took place in the Santa Monica American Eagle store located on the Third Street promenade and online at AE.com. Kwittken & Company helped to secure celebrity participation from MTV’s “The Hills” star Lauren “LC” Conrad to emcee the event. Her sister, Breanna Conrad from MTV’s Laguna Beach was also in attendance.
To spread the word about the concert Kwittken & Company virally seeded concert information on all of the relevant online message boards. The concert was a huge success, drawing thousands of fans to the Santa Monica American Eagle, nearly shutting the promenade down. Kwittken & Company also generated major celebrity gossip blog support from the likes of Perez Hilton and Pink is The New Blog as well as mainstream media placements in USA Today amongst others.
