When the brand integration site PlaceVine (http://www.placevine.com) launched its online portal in late 2008, it called on Kwittken & Company to help generate awareness among entertainment, branding and marketing influencers. Kwittken & Company worked to tell the unique PlaceVine story by positioning the company as innovators within the fast growing brand integration space. Since PlaceVine easily facilitates brand interactions transactions across film, television, the Web and gaming, it was uniquely suited to comment on all aspects of the industry. We first secured an exclusive piece on the launch with Adweek, followed by a feature post on LATimes.com and Variety.
Over time, we worked with PlaceVine to promote its many case studies, resulting in features in major trade publications like MediaWeek. In early 2009, PlaceVine secured a round of financing from a new VC company called NYCSeed. As a result of our outreach, PlaceVine was included or featured in articles in am New York, BusinessWeek, NewTeeVee, TVWeek, MediaPost and more. The founders of PlaceVine also have met with several influential analysts at companies like Gartner and Forrester and been selected as spokespeople for such industry events as Digital Hollywood.
