Critical Mention tracks TV news over the Internet to clients in the PR & Corporate Communications industries. The Company was frustrated that the only media attention it could generate was small product announcements in second tier trade newsletters. Critical Mention wanted to move beyond the PR trades to position itself as a business intelligence tool.
Therefore Kwittkenc & Company switched the emphasis from the product itself and tied the Company to the larger and more interesting online video marketplace and highlighted the irreverent nature of the CEO and the work environment he created. As a result of the Agency’s efforts, Critical Mention was profiled in The New York Times, Business 2.0 and listed as “One to Watch” by PRWeek.
